RMSK Mock Exam

The RMSK is a difficult examination. The RMSK was moved to a physician level examination in 2015, and overall pass rates have ranged from 50% to 73% since then depending on the year. One of the best ways to prepare for this exam is by practicing the test; passive learning is less likely to lead to a passing result.

Our exam is a comprehensive, 201 question RMSK practice examination with multiple choice and hotspot questions that can be taken as many times as you like. There are also three 10 question bonus quizzes for a total of 231 questions. This is the original full length practice examination available on the internet for the RMSK that includes hotspot questions, where the user needs to click an image to identify relevant anatomy or pathology. This is a key part of the actual exam and knowing how to answer these questions is crucial to passing. Our exam is also very difficult. We do not want a user to take a practice test and feel overconfident in their prep. In our opinion this is one of the more challenging practice exams available for the RMSK.

The breakdown of questions by content type is exactly like the actual RMSK. The content area breakdown of questions for our main exam is as follows:

Sonographic anatomy: 26% of 200 questions (52 questions)
Sonographic pathology: 23% of 200 questions (46 questions plus one bonus question)
Interventions: 18% of 200 questions (36 questions)
Integration of data: 7% of 200 (14 questions)
Physics: 26% of 200 (52 questions)

The body region breakdown of this practice exam is as follows:

Abdominal wall: 7 questions

Wrist/hand: 24 questions

Foot/ankle: 24 questions

Elbow: 23 questions

Knee: 23 questions

Hip: 25 questions

Chest wall: 7 questions

Shoulder: 24 questions

Body region agnostic: 44 questions

The creator of this exam passed all content type sections with either satisfactory or excellent scores on the RMSK exam in 2022 with a overall score of 627 (a score of 555 was needed to pass, and scores range from 300-700). To achieve a satisfactory score on one of the RMSK content areas, between 80-94% of questions need to be answered correctly. To achieve an excellent score, over 95% of questions need to be answered correctly.

This exam covers much of the types of content/questions that can be expected on the exam. Detailed feedback is provided with references for most questions after the exam and a overall score report is provided. The exam can be saved and resumed when taken in study mode. There are no limits to attempts. Keep in mind that passing this exam does not necessarily mean you would pass the RMSK, and failing it does not mean you would fail. We suggest studying from multiple sources including prep material along with as many practice exams as you can get your hands on. Other companies also offer musculoskeletal prep material such as MSK Masters, Gulf Coast Ultrasound Institute, Pegasus Lectures, or the AIUM website (we are not affiliated with these). Researching/reading articles on PubMed can also help to understand specific scanning techniques or conditions.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: We attempted to cover some of the most challenging topics to help you prepare for the exam. We offer a money back guarantee for those that can pass this exam with a 80% or greater on the first attempt in exam mode. To qualify for a refund you cannot take the test in study mode first (our software records this) and you need to provide proof that you failed the RMSK via an emailed score report to ssor33171@gmail.com. You cannot qualify if you do not pass the exam in test mode on the first attempt with a 80% score, or if you take the test in practice mode first.

Note that this exam should be taken on a computer; it will work on mobile but will be more difficult to navigate due to the size of the exam window. There is also a free sample quiz available for those who wish to try out our product (these questions are not in the full 201 question exam or the 30 bonus questions).
